Kitchen is Closed, but Store is Open!

Kitchen is Closed, but Store is Open!

Our family went skiing over the holidays and I don't ski.  I happily assumed the "hospitality" role for this group of boys...until it became clear to me that these young men wanted sustenance all at different times.  As soon as I would prepare, clean up, put away and sit down, one of these boys would request a snack, meal, or drink.  My "Kitchen is Closed" canvas was miles away at home, but the sentiment was real.  It reminds me of something my grandmother used to say, "Every time I thought about having a nervous breakdown it was time to get another meal".  I wonder if I can fit that on a canvas??

It's a wonderful thing when we carve out time for our passions. Life has really gotten in the way of mine for the last year.  We sold a house, we bought a house, I went back to work full time, I stayed home full time.  Moore Stitching canvas designs took a back burner, but I'm reinvigorated to fix that in 2020.  I remain committed to designing canvases that finish beautifully but won't break the bank.  The Instagram pictures of everyone's end of the year copulation of finished pieces I saw come through my feed was proof of that.  I love seeing completed Moore Stitching canvases so please keep them coming!

Keep an eye on this space for news about the fun new designs that have been percolating in my head this winter. I have several underway already. I'm also intending to add to some of the old favorite collections such as the Yoga Girls and the clutch purses. I'm excited to share them with you!

Lastly, thank you to those loyal customers who have been keeping the orders trickling in during this time at Moore Stitching.
